报告题目：How PhD Students Succeed in Environmental Engineering

报告（讲学）内容：I have had more than 60 PhD graduates over my time as a professor of Environmental Engineering, and all succeeded as PhD students and in their careers. Based on my on PhD experience and the experience of my 60 PhD graduates, I have come up with five “rules” for ensuring success while doing the PhD and after: (1) Become a true expert, (2) Take control of your research, (3) Joyfully and often communicated your work, (4) embrace failure, and (5) have fun. This talk explains and exemplifies each of the rules.
